MR. CRAFTSMAN AT HOME - LONDON

During this years London Design Festival Louise and I (RATZER MEETS GAARMANN)
had a show at Town House that we called "Mr. Craftsman at home".
Last year we showed Mr. Craftsman as a happening during the festival here and here and here
and this year he moved in at Town House with his collection of one off pieces items.
Ceramic chocolate cups and baskets, applicated blankets and a handmade quilt (guest Anna-Grethe Ratzer).
It was a very nice visit - thanks to Jeremy Freedman for photography and to Fiona for cooperation.

LONDON DESIGN FESTIVAL 2012

A UNIQUE BLANKET FOR LONDON DESIGN FESTIVAL

The unique TWIST A TWILL blanket is done - inspired of my mums quilt.
See post below.

A NEW QUILT FROM MY MUM

I got this new handsewed quilt form my mum last day,
made specially for our upcomming exhibition at the London Design Festival
"Mr. Craftsman at home" at Town House.
For inspiration I gave her a TWIST A TWILL blanket.
Now I´m working on a unique TWIST A TWILL quilt/blanket inspired of her quilt.

HAPPENING AT ARoS

On their way home the 3 craftsmen made the shortest happening in their life.
10 seconds at ARoS and the security guard came and throw them out.

HAPPENING AT KiC

The 3 craftsmen got together and walked on their way to visit the marked.
I´m happy for them that there was a carpet on the stone floor.
Patchwork pots by Martine, Ceramic by Louise and the textiles by me.
