Mostly blankets are woven in a technique called TWILL like your
jeans, at a close-up you see the weaving have a diagonally direction.
I let the twill be one of my inspiration for making the blankets
below.
On top you see two drawings for a twill setup for the weave. I am a
weaver myself and I am fascinated about the grahics in these drawing.
Also I like these half-timbered houses which this couple documentet
