TEACHING PATCHWORK
























































Last night I had the night shift at the school and
introduced the girls to patchwork. They are learning quickly
and very creative :-)

As I arrive to Skals is was late at night and totally dark with a sky full of stars and
the day I left it were all dressed in white. Very poetic. What a place!

I hope to see you soon again - hello Copenhagen and goodbye to the country side.

Day five - final. The work of the students from Skals.
They are now ready to start the process of weaving today and I´m very exited to see 
the result in some weeks.

TEACHING AT SKALS 3










































Day three. The work of the students at Skals.
Looking at colors for their abstract "atmosphere" they made so far and at the same
time they picking yarn and making small samples for the weave next week.
They are going to make their own fabric for an upper part cloth.
I´m very proud of them, I think they are doing good ;-)

And today my "TWIST A TWILL" blanket is in the The New York Times.

TEACHING AT SKALS 2









































Day two. The work of the students from Skals.
They draw and make the feelings of the sound of water,
the taste and the feeling of water. Making an personal
"atmosphere".

TEACHING AT SKALS 1





This week I teach at the school of design and crafts in Skals
on the country side. It´s very nice here.
The place have a lot of atmophere and the girls are knitting and
sewing all the time.
I teach the group of design students in the very first period of
developing ideas for a longer process of weaving and sewing
a part of cloth.

Knitting night monday.
Cool big sweater by Kaffe Fassett and christmas balls by
Arne & Carlos.
